With Gratitude, Matt
Gratitude—the profound sense of thankfulness—often emerges from recognizing the blessings, privileges, or serendipities life bestows. While a diagnosis like cancer is rarely seen as a cause for gratitude, Matt Moran felt otherwise. His battle with kidney cancer inspired him to launch this podcast in 2020, a platform where life lessons, faith, and resilience shine through adversity. Every episode shares stories of hope and determination, revealing how gratitude can guide us through life’s toughest challenges. Following Matt’s passing in 2023, his older brother, Bill, stepped in to continue the mission, ensuring the podcast remains a beacon of inspiration. Together, the Moran brothers’ legacy encourages us all to embrace life’s journey with faith, hope, and a grateful heart.

The Power of Making Amends, with Andy Hill
Author and professional speaker, Andy Hill, grew up in Westwood CA and his basketball talents got the attention of the great UCLA coach John Wooden. He was recruited and was part of three National Championship teams from 1970-72. Perhaps a starter on many college teams, Andy rode the bench at UCLA and this coaching decision left a mark. Andy graduated and found success elsewhere as President of CBS Productions and Channel One News. But something in his heart triggered him to reach back out to Coach Wooden 25 years after playing his last game. Andy realized the impact Coach had on his life and this gratefulness sparked a special and enduring friendship. Listen in as Andy recounts his re-connection with Coach Wooden.
